Recently, Sam received her Infant Swim Resourcing, Self-Rescue, Certification and is able to provide aquatic survival skills to swimmers beginning at 6 months of age. As an ISR instructor, Sam is able to teach infants to swim by honoring each child's individual strengths and experiences. She understands the fundamentals of the behavioral sciences, child development and of sensori-motor learning as it relates to the acquisition of aquatic survival skills; she uses this education to guide each child through the sequence of learning to swim and float.
Spindlebeak offers Infant Swim Resourcing and American Red Cross Water Safety Instruction for group or private lessons to humans of all ages. Our programs are structured to promote water familiarization, safety, correct stroke technique and personal development in a fun and safe environment. |
Class Groups |
What would your child do if he or she fell in the water? What is more reassuring to a Mom or Dad than knowing your child is capable of swimming and at ease in the water? Spindlebeak offers “ISR Self-Rescue™" lessons to provide resulting confidence in a swimmer's ability engendering a positive self-concept that is often demonstrated in other aspects of their personalities.
|
Having confidence in and around the water can not only be lifesaving, but allows for the participation in many aquatic based activities, including boating, surfing, and scuba diving. Spindlebeak offers American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim lessons that are designed to help any swimmer gain confidence with the water.
|
Strokes class is a swim team preparatory class designed to help kids transition to the competitive swim environment. In these classes, swimmers will build endurance, fine tune their strokes and learn to swim more independently.

Spindlebeak is the best! Ali has done great with Sam as well! |
I love that my daughter is not sitting on the side of the pool. She is constantly moving! The instructor |
Madelyn has been taking swim lessons for the past 6 weeks, 3 days a week, with my friend and expert of a swimmer. I have been so impressed with her progress. Madelyn is now diving for toys, jumping off the side and swimming with her face in the water to her instructor. I am confident that if Madelyn needed to get to the side of the pool on her own now she could!!! Swim lessons have been the highlight of our summer! I am super excited to continue and have my big girl on the swim team next summer.
