If you have a small child who is learning how to be comfortable in the water, a great game to play is Treasure Hunt! Find a shallow area for your child to stand comfortably, in the water (steps can also work). Place toys on the bottom of the pool and on top of the surface! Have them pick them up. This gives them the opportunity to explore the water and learn the friction the water may have against their body. Adult supervision is required for this activity.
